1983 - 3/2000: practice law with emphasis on estate planning and administration. Other areas of practice include: elder law; real estate; business & nonprofit organizations. Co-founded Reitnour, Mumma & Schwartz in 1984, incorporated as Cornerstone Lawyers, Ltd. in 1985, and then, after partners left to pursue other activities, operated as a sole proprietor.
1982: Northeast Commuter Services Corporation (assisted David Marston in transfer of Conrail passenger rail service to regional authorities in northeastern U.S.A.)

1985-1991: Assisted in development of Spring City's Riverfront Park; organized Riverfront Festival/ Annual Advent tree lighting; led efforts to rejuvenate Main Street (e.g., bury wires, organize Schuylkill Valley municipalities to advocate for Schuylkill Valley Metro, canal alley park); organized fund raisers and grant applications for Spring City; managed Spring City Business Association; served at Spring City United Methodist Church.
1991-1999: Reorganized and for a time chaired East Vincent Recreation Board; obtained heritage planning grant & led open space study efforts; initiated and led effort to enact open space plan and mandatory land dedication ordinance; initiated efforts to create a park at Pennhurst; Royersford Baptist Church Building Project (youth/community center and theatre).

Fifth generation Reitnour in East Vincent Township, Chester County. Eagle Scout. Vigil O.A. Lions Club Exchange in Japan 1975. Interests: poetry, building stone walls and gardens, folk music, canoeing and fishing. Married to Melissa (Audiologist). Children: Thomas & Stephen.
